Stanley No. 45 Combination Plane

My best friends grandfather passed away and they let us have all of his tools. I'm not sure what year this tool is, but I have all of the bits and pieces still in the box. Although the box is not in very good shape anymore. I was wondering how much this tool could be worth to someone who collects these neat older tools.

I have a Model 55 with the original hickory box and all the bits. Was told that it could bring as much as $ 1100.00

The box

Protect the box. Having the complete set with the original box is a rarity, let alone mint condition. Don't get under bid. No idea, but has to be a fair price. Find an honest dealer.
