Rockwell 1460 Wood Lathe

Hello , I live in a very small town in eastern Washington. Our school has 1 old wood lathe that hasn't worked in most likely 20 years. I would like to find parts to fix it & make it usable for the kids. As far as i know it needs a whole new old style tailstock, but what is wrong is it needs new quill and threaded rod, so you can release the bit. And it needs new spring in the hold down handle section. I found one for a Delta 1460, a whole tailstock for 11 inch lathe. Ours is 12 inch. Do you know if it will work?

Our quill has the keyway and a keyway on the handle part too. I believe it is a 1961 year machine . some # are 434 02 651 5001 , & pm 1532 the quill is part # cbl 416 r , with 3/16 sq x 2. any info would be helpful . they're are only about 10 kids in our graduating class, but it be nice to have a usable lathe to learn on .. Thank you.. a concerned parent, in the Lind school Distict.Ggerry
