My father passed and I inherited this fine tool and many other old tools. I see that is has increased in value. Mine is still sealed with a red seal of Rabone rapped around it. It was never used. I also would like to know when it was made. email Streamln1@aol.com if you find out

I have an identical Rabone 36 inch folding rule. Mine was a gift and was found in an antique shop in Johannesburg, South Africa. Apparently, when the country went metric (1968), such English tools were banned.

I want to know when it was made, too.
