This massive electric motor manufactured by Oliver came with n Oliver stand that i bought to mount my old Homecraft lathe on. I have just given away the lathe and decided to look at the motor which looks like it is in rough shape. It also weighs more than 150 pounds. It is 110 V, single phase, 10 Amps 1/2 Horsepower, adjustable speed 600-3600 RPM. The specification no. is J812 and the serial no. is 44164.

hi

i have an oliver lathe with a motor that liioks exactly like yours, except the mine is 220 volt. you might look the id plates over carefully,as running at the wrong voltage can do damage. the wheel on the side controls the speed.

my e-mail is macd582 @msn.com if you would like to take further. c. MacDonald
