Model 103.0305 Drill Press

I just acquired a Model 103.0305 Drill Press and the Quill Tension spring is boken. I have tried to find a replacement part on the internet via Sears but since this unit is very old they had nothing available. The tension knob has a "Clock Type" Spring inside of it. Does anyone have parts or a unit like this for sale? Also does anyone know who really manufactured this press? I know Sears had several jobbers they used for such items. And if anyone knows how old this press is I would like to know.
