Miter box model 881.3630

Belonged to my husband's father. We have used it to cut crown moulding in our den so it does work ok. Tried to give it to someone who was making renovations in our home and he said it was worth too much to give away. I didn't know if it had any value...is it really vintage and what is it worth? Not sure when it was purchased..50's 60's or 70's?

I just purchased the same miter box, but I don't have a saw. I purchased it at St. Vinnies for $20, and even without the saw it wauld have been a steal at $50. Do you happen to know where i cuold get a replacement saw? Thanks

I have a model 88136309, which has a more modern look. (Due to the aluminum parts?) Hoped to find some instructions on how to adjust it, as one part seems to be locked in place.
