Homecraft-Delta-Milwaukee Wood Lathe

Homecraft-Delta-Milwaukee Wood Lathe

I am not to familar with it yet. I purchased it on Craigslist. Works and runs fine. No model# and only a serial number. I am looking for information and maybe a manual. It is a 4 speed and I have very little else to add. I am not for sure off all the attachments but I do have some older tools with it and also two bowl attachments. I am eager to start using it.
Does anyone one have one similar and or information on it?

I can be reached at mjh@charter.net

the slightly cagey looking thing is ... NEW
by: Anonymous

the thing with two rings, larger one on bottom, is part of the homecraft/craftsman mortice drill attachment.

it attached to the homecraft drill press and held the chisel portion of the mortice attachment -- the part that did not rotate. the part this rotate fit into the drill press chuck and did most of the work of the mortice.

i cant clearly see the other pieces in the picture and cant help identifying them

Lathe Manual
by: Anonymous

I just purchased the same lathe and was looking for the manual myself. I believe this is the manual for it although it doesn't include any mention of the "Homecraft" trademark.

I found it on the Old Wood-Working Machines website under this name "No 46-230 Cast Iron Bed 11 Inch Lathe Operating and Maintenance Instructrions"

Here's the link.

I have this exact same lathe, but I can't find any information about it, except that it might have been manufactured in the fifties or sixties. Other than that, I have nothing. Good luck!
