Can anyone provide information of the possibility of swapping the inner workings (trunnion and all related shafts) from a second series unisaw into a very early first series unisaw. I purchased one for restoration and upon disassembly discovered that the gears had been brazed and the locking mechanism for the height and tilt were not complete. Any suggestions and past experience would be appreciated.
