Delta Rockwell Planer model PM-1738

I just inherited this planer from my late uncle, and was just looking for some information on it. I have the manual for it, but it doesn't say what year it was built. What year would this have been built? I don't plan on ever selling it, but it is in prime condition, and I'm wondering how much it would be worth. I'm having a hard time finding information on the internet. Any help would be great!
