Delta 4 inch jointer (37-290) restored
I beat the heck out of this tool when I built a large horse barn and then it was retired and unused for a few years when I almost sold it. Then I decided to give it a new lease on life because it is such a handy tool when I need to nip off an eighth of an inch!.
New bearings, blades, motor and an original stand were purchased. After a machine shop resurfaced the beds, I was ready to make some wood chips.
It turned out nice and remains a very accurate tool for working with 3-5 foot wood lengths.
