craftsman saw model number 207.25601

Bought this saw at a yard sale. Can't find anything on it online. Has craftsman red tag on the back of a cast aluminum shell. Tag reads 115v.ac/dc 13.8 amps Model number 207.25601. Sears Roebuck and Co. USA. Has Srs-3 on blade guard. Came in metal case to fit saw with side guide accessory.

These saws were the first post war saws-they started in 1948 and produced for a couple of years then 25602

Craftsman circular saw model number 207.25601

The saw is in the case, still runs well. I'm hard pressed to locate the exact year it was produce. From looking at the information I found on the 207.25602 it has to be early 1940s. Anyone have information regarding this vintage tool?
